Megan Sweet, MA, LAMFT, associate marriage and family therapist at Prologue Therapy

Hello everyone! I'm Megan, a licensed associate marriage and family therapist dedicated to empowering individuals, couples, and families as they navigate both current and past challenges. My professional background in counseling, combined with experience in home and school environments, allows me to uncover innovative, systemic solutions that strengthen support networks. I recognize that everyone learns differently, and I incorporate diverse strategies in therapy to ensure a personalized experience.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), all tailored to meet your unique goals. My passion lies in trauma-focused care and neurodivergent-affirming services, informed by my own experiences. I also bring my flair for humor into sessions when appropriate, using my background as a professional comedian and incorporating principles of Applied Improvisation, such as mindfulness, active listening, creativity, and social support.

My primary aim is to meet you where you are, creating a judgment-free, human-centered, and safe space for healing. Together, we can embark on a journey of growth and transformation.
