2026Prologue is a marriage and family therapy practice in Flemington, New Jersey. That means we look at a person in the context of their relationships. Sessions happen at our Main Street office or online anywhere in New Jersey. We opened in June 2022 and now have eight clinicians.
Hunterdon County has voted us best in Therapy & Counseling three years in a row: 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Full bios for each person are on our team page. Jeff Hornberger is the office manager, and April, from Advanced Billing Services, is the insurance biller.
Nicole Locorriere founded Prologue. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the practice's clinical supervisor. She described her work with clients this way: "I ask 'what has happened to you?' rather than 'what is wrong with you?'" On her own life, she says, "Now I'm holding the pen for my own life story, and I want to help you do the same." On how treatment ends, she says, "Our ultimate goal at Prologue is to be out of work. We want you to heal and not need us anymore."
