For most couples who call us, it's been years of arguing about the same things, or the talking has mostly stopped.
For adults. Come in for a hard year, for something that has been wrong for a long time, or for something you have never told anyone.
For parents who think something might be going on with their teenager. A teen can come in on their own, and most of the time it's a parent who calls first.
For the whole family. Usually one person makes the call, and you don't need everyone to agree first.
For engaged couples. Nothing has to be wrong: it's a set format, usually six sessions or less, for talking through families, finances, children and holidays before the wedding.
For addiction, including drinking, drugs and gambling. Come in for yourself, or because you're worried about someone you love.
For anyone who wants their session outside, on a walk near our office. Some people find it easier to talk side by side.
For couples where one of you is thinking about leaving and the other wants to work on it. A short program, five sessions at most, built to end in a decision.
For anyone who has lost someone, we offer grief and loss support inside our regular individual therapy, though no one on our team specializes in grief.
If what's going on doesn't fit the usual reasons people reach out, say so on the call.
Call us or fill out the form, and we set up a free 15-minute phone call.
You say what has been going on and ask any questions you have. After the call, we recommend the therapist whose specialty, schedule and price point fit.

Every therapist here sets their own fee, so the number depends on who you see. We tell you the exact fee on the phone. We're out of network with insurance. If your plan covers out-of-network care, our biller checks it and files your claims for you.
You tell us what's been going on and ask us anything you want. Then you decide if you want to book a session.
We listen to your story on the call, then point you to the therapist who fits it. Our therapists have different specialties, different schedules, and different price points.
You don't have to be in a crisis to come in. A hard year is big enough, and so is something you have never told anyone.
Yes. You can come on your own and work on the relationship from your side, and what changes for you changes how the relationship runs.
It depends on what's going on and how much you work on it between sessions. Two exceptions: the stay-or-go program runs five sessions at most, and premarital counseling is usually about six. Your therapist talks the timing through with you.
Everything stays between you and your therapist, with a few narrow legal exceptions: abuse of a child or an elderly person, a plan to hurt yourself or someone else, or a judge's subpoena. Your therapist walks through these first.
Both. In person at 4 Main St in Flemington. Online anywhere in New Jersey.
