Meet the team.

Eight therapists work here, bringing a range of skills, schedules, locations, and even price points.

What our therapists have in common

All therapists and helping professionals at Prologue have one joint goal: to help you take charge of your own life.

Every therapist here has different specialties, different price points, and different schedules. During our free consultation, we'll listen to your story and make a recommendation based on what we hear.

So read the bios below if you're the kind of person who reads bios. Skip them if you're not. Neither changes what happens on the call.

Our therapists

What the letters mean

Therapists collect letters. Here is what ours mean. MS and MA both mean a master's degree. LMFT means licensed marriage and family therapist. LAMFT means licensed associate marriage and family therapist. LAC means licensed associate counselor. ADC means alcohol and drug counselor.

The word to notice is associate. An associate has finished the same master's program and is doing the same work, with a supervisor still signing off on it. Nicole owns the practice and is an approved clinical supervisor herself.

Office and billing

  • Jeff Hornberger, Office Manager. Jeff and the admin team answer any logistical questions you have about scheduling, insurance, and more.

  • April Schmitt, Billing. Prologue works with your insurance as an out-of-network provider. April, our superstar insurance biller, can check your benefits on your behalf before you begin, and she files your claims for you once she sees you've had a session.
